New British Herbs logo and website launched

The British Herb Trades Association (BHTA) has launched a new logo and website to coincide with its annual conference. The new logo has replaced the original one which was designed when the BHTA was founded.

The project was overseen by Mathew Prestwich. “The BHTA has been operating for over 35 years and has provided support not only in terms of help and advice to their members, but valuable Technical information and Marketing support. The Association is entering a new phase and we have realigned ourselves to ensure that we reach out to as many herb growers, suppliers and associate members and we are now encouraging importers, consultants and centres of learning to get on board. Under the new name of British Herbs, we aim to become an essential part of British Herb faming, production and marketing for all areas of the industry.”

The new website has details of various areas of production covering culinary, essential oils and pots for garden centres.  It also has a seasonality chart which can be downloaded and over twenty herb themed recipes for consumers use.

“It is important that we move with the times” said Nigel Stangroom, Chairman of British Herbs, “We are a vibrant, modern, industry providing top quality products to consumers through multiple retailers, food services and ingredients in many meal solutions. Our new image and website reflect that, and we are delighted with the results of the teams’ hard work.”

On the 29th January the members of British Herbs will be gathering in Northampton for their Annual conference.  Full details can be found on the new website.
