Our farming business is based at Blofield in East Norfolk, in the heart of the Norfolk Broads.
We have been farming at Blofield for over 90 years, and have been growing herbs on the farm for 40 years, as well as a range of other horticultural crops.
Over the last 10 years we have been developing 2 main areas, daffodils and herb production: “Fragrance and Flavour”.
We have also invested heavily in modern storage buildings for warm air drying of daffodils and refrigerated storage of seed potatoes.
Our soil type is sandy loam, easy working and free-draining, making it ideal for the crops we grow.
Irrigation is very important to us to ensure reliability and quality in our production. We use booms for uniform coverage and efficiency.
We are members of the Assured Produce scheme and SEDEX, and are audited suppliers to Unilever, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Marks & Spencers.
We are keen supporters of environmental initiatives and we are now in our second 5-year agreement under ELS countryside stewardship
